It’s the holiday season, and you know what that means: COOKIES! Being in the kitchen and making cookies with my family is one of my favorite holiday traditions. Here are two cookie favorites from my family and a special treat to go along with them. Pull out the cookie making gear and get to mixing and baking. Have fun in your kitchen this year making new memories with your family and loved ones!
These Snowball Cookies are so fun to make with your kids. Set out all the ingredients and have fun watching your little one do everything from placing the ingredients into the food processor, to pushing the button and watching it all whirl together, to rolling out the dough and finally gently tapping the powdered sugar on top of the freshly baked cookies.
These cookies combine two classic flavors of the season: chocolate and orange. Make these for that holiday cookie swap and I bet you’ll have the most unique, and the most coveted cookies to offer! Chocolate Orange Snaps are as fun to make as they are to eat.
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without some Hot Chocolate, and what pairs better with cookies than a roaring fire, family, and a warm mug of cocoa? The best part about this cocoa is that it isn’t overflowing with sugar and you can make it with any type of milk you prefer! Enjoy this holiday season in the kitchen with your family.
