My tenth grade daughter’s last day of finals took place at the end of last week, so you know what that means! Time to get to work!
The fact she only had one weekday to sleep late before sinking into a stretch of nine-hour work days may seem brutal, but believe me — it is!
She works hard and deserves a rest, but she also needs to pad her bank account so she can deserve other things, too. Things that require you buy them.
She considered many possibilities when thinking of what summer job to chase. Her biggest concern was what sort of job affords her the chance to bugger off for a slice of summer when she attends theater camp. She settled on the idea of babysitting because she enjoys babies, and enjoys sitting even more. And because she could be in charge of her own schedule, working only those weeks when she’s available.
But many other ideas were tossed about — and the following represents a list of the best teen summer jobs that offer a bit more schedule flexibility. Shall we?

Best of luck, to teens everywhere! Happy summer.
