That's Much Better: New Storage For Kids' RoomsGoon Squad Sarah
Last week I told you that I got rid of the old bins in my kids’ rooms.
Do you want to see what I replaced them with?
You know you do. Check these out.
We are renovating 2/3 of our house. The 1/3 that is not currently undergoing change is the upstair bedrooms and the bathroom. That means that for the next 10 to 12 weeks we will be living in a three bedroom, two bath, no kitchen or living room or family room, home. If our living quarters ever needed to be tidy, this is the time.
We went from this:
And from this:
I could not be happier.
Well, I suppose I could be happier if I was assured that my children would swear an oath to keep them looking this nice and also not throw any wet towels on the floor. I would also be happier if there was less general mouthiness, but if you take into consideration the fact that they are my children that probably won’t ever happen.
The best part is that this whole set up was less than $75 each at The Home Depot, and I know if we ever decide to add more bins (technically you can have six drawers and no spaces) it will be simple to run back over there and buy a few more cubes.
Easy solutions are my favorite.
