The Best Sugar-Free Icing Ever. Amen.Laura Mayes
My dad (and most of his people, really) can not eat sugar for health reasons. This is not awesome for a variety of reasons. The least of which is that making a birthday cake for someone who can’t eat sugar is like throwing a cocktail party for a Mormon. Less than satisfying for almost everyone.
But then my aunt gave me this recipe. And it sort of changed my sugar-free birthday cake making experience. Thank you sugar-free Cool Whip whipped topping.
What You’ll Need
1 1/2 ozs instant pudding mix (I use vanilla)
1 3/4 cups milk
What You’ll Do
In a medium bowl, combine the pudding mix with milk and vanilla. Mix until it’s really smooth. Then, gently fold in the whipped topping until it’s completely blended. Spread over cake. Celebrate good times, c’mon.
