The Ultimate Fall Fashion and Beauty List

I’m not a huge follower of trends – I know what works for me and I like to stick to it.  However, I recently attended a press breakfast at Neiman Marcus for the upcoming season, and I have to say, I fell in love with just about all of the trends mentioned. Here are some of my favorites.

  • The Jacket 1 of 5
    The Jacket
Just like a scarf, a jacket can pull a look together in no time. A denim jacket, schoolboy blazer or even a fun funky printed one can instantly spruce up your outift, as well as cover up the tee underneath that you may or may not have worn to bed last night.
  • Navy 2 of 5
    Navy
Oh, how I love navy, and it's everywhere. It truly is the perfect neutral, and please forget the "old rules" - you can absolutely wear navy with black. It's trés chic.
  • The Statement Handbag 3 of 5
    The Statement Handbag
Handbags are large and in charge, which makes it a breeze to carry everything you AND your children need.
  • Borrowed From the Boys 4 of 5
    Borrowed From the Boys
What's cooler than menswear-inspired trousers and a button-up shirt, I ask of you? Nothing, I say.
  • A Cherry Lip 5 of 5
    A Cherry Lip
When all else fails and you're feeling a little frumpy/boring/not-so-great, layer on a rich, cherry red lipstick. It instantly perks up your face, and gives you a pucker to remember.
