Those Kodak Moments

I love to take pictures. I’m not necessarily good at it, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Besides, if I’m behind the camera, then I won’t be caught on film because I hate getting my picture taken as much as I love taking pictures. I’ve put thousands (literally, thousands!) of pictures on flash drives and CDs. I’ll probably never have the time or money to print them and put them in albums, but now and then I like looking through them on my computer. I really like looking at other people’s pictures also. It doesn’t matter what the subject matter is, I just truly enjoy looking at pictures. If that description fits you, please feel free to take a look at some of my better photos here. I’m happy to share!

    Light
This was just a light fixture at a mall in Beverly Hills. I thought it looked cool. When I look at these photos, I'm reminded of the best blogging trip ever!
  • Chicago 2 of 13
    Chicago
I think this picture looks like a postcard. A storm had just rolled through and the lighting was terrific. I took this from out on the lake when Lands' End invited me to go sailing before the Race to Mackinac. It was my first time sailing and I fell in love!

    Giraffe
I took this picture at Brookfield Zoo. There was a time when I took my kids to the zoo every week or so for years. I smile when I think back to that time.
  • Mt. Everest 4 of 13
    Mt. Everest
This was taken at Disney's Animal Kingdom a few years ago. I love this picture & I love that ride!
  • Rose 5 of 13
    Rose
I took this picture at Lukaro Salon in Beverly Hills. The cool thing about looking back at old pictures is remembering the good times associated with them.
  • Staircase 6 of 13
    Staircase
This was taken at City Museum in St. Louis. It's a really fun place for all ages! We could have spent all day there! I just thought this staircase looked cool.
  • Parrot 7 of 13
    Parrot
This was also taken at Brookfield Zoo. I could fill several albums with my animal pics. Come on, everybody, sing with me, "Wasting away again in Margaritaville . . ."
  • Fountain 8 of 13
    Fountain
I took this picture at a winery in Sonoma while on a wine tasting tour with some amazing Christian authors at a retreat. We ate crackers in a limo. Good times!
  • Roof 9 of 13
    Roof
This is a roof in the Chinese pavilion at Epcot. There are so many cool things to take pictures of there.
  • Bean 10 of 13
    Bean
Here's a picture of "the bean" in Millennium Park, Chicago. This is such a cool looking object! I love it! It reminds me of back home.
  • Grasshopper 11 of 13
    Grasshopper
I took this at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Although they had many interesting animals on display there, I thought this guy was kinda neat. I mean, I wouldn't like to find him in my house or anything, but from a distance, he was cool.
  • Arch 12 of 13
    Arch
This is a picture of the St. Louis arch. I've been up inside of it a few times. It's one of those things everyone should experience once.
  • Skyline 13 of 13
    Skyline
And finally, this is the most magnificent skyline ever! It makes me eager to go back and visit. It reminds me of Lou Malnati's pizza, Garrett's popcorn, trips downtown to the bars as a young adult, rides on the L with my kids, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

If all your friends added Dawn as a friend on Facebook before jumping off a bridge, would you do it too?
