Time Lapse of Rolling Clouds in New Zealand

If you are a lover of clouds, you’ll enjoy our time lapse of rolling clouds in New Zealand.  It’s 1080 photos in a 45 second video!

During our family’s three weeks of exploring New Zealand with a campervan, Brian would sometimes steal away for some quiet time to capture the clouds.  (Quiet time that involved him waking up at 3am in the morning to capture the sunrise!)  But how can you not wake for sunrise when you are in such a magical place?  You’ll see what I mean when you watch this time lapse of rolling clouds in New Zealand!  All four of us are capturing our Adventure Family dream in different ways, whether it’s filming, shooting stills, capturing time lapses of the clouds, or the kids interviewing locals…this is a creative collaboration by the whole family!

(See below for the camera equipment we used.  And you’ll love the song!)

Camera Body: SONY a99 Full-Frame DSLR

Lenses: SONY 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye, 24-70mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss, 70-400 mm f/4-5.6 G

We are The Adventure Family! We’ve put our sweet home on the market, our belongings in storage, and left the familiar behind to build a dream: a family travel show that takes you abroad and off the beaten path! Follow our journey!
