Transitional Outerwear: East Coast

My sister Liz and I are so excited to discuss our favorite trends together on Babble Voices. Even though we live on opposite sides of the country, we still like to call each other and gush about what people have been wearing on the streets.

Our first topic of discussion is transitional outerwear.

(You can see Liz’s post on West Coast jackets here)

Welcome to the month of March. Every year, the East Coast gets slammed with famously unpredictable weather. Just this past week, New Yorkers endured a string of rainy days, a 24-hour blizzard, and warm biking weather.

I see women all the time on the streets of New York who seem to have figured out that the best way to stay warm in March is to layer, layer, layer. I love the idea of layering a lighter jacket and a pullover underneath your coat, like in the image above. Here are a few items you might want in your spring closet!

Wool Coat
Long Sweater
Zipper Blazer
Camo Jacket
Swing Jumper
