Travel Beauty Essentials

I’m currently in the midst of a massive coast-to-coast travel extravaganza, so travel beauty products are on the brain (and my body) right now. While I certainly try to keep my travel bag light, a handful of products are essential for my time spent away from home.

  • Macadamia Oil 1 of 7
    Macadamia Oil
I have tried every hair oil out there, and Macadamia Oil is the best in my book by far. Perfect for smoothing and softening hair, put a small amount in your hair and watch your blow-drying time decrease by half. Plus, the smallest size is perfect for traveling - you won't need to worry about the larger pump ones spilling in your bag.
  • Babyliss Travel Dryer 2 of 7
    Babyliss Travel Dryer
I have a mane that overheats old hotel room dryers in less than 3 minutes. Not the case with this little dynamo! The Babyliss Pro TT takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
  • Korres Lip Balm 3 of 7
    Korres Lip Balm
This lip balm is always in my purse or on my bedside table. It completely moisturizes dry, chapped lips from traveling, and smells divine to boot.
  • Hollywood Fashion Tape 4 of 7
    Hollywood Fashion Tape
I'm not sure why I assumed this tape was only for low cut dresses. Nope, you can use it for all sorts of fashion dilemmas. Got a bra strap that falls down your shoulder or peeks out from a sleeveless blouse? Just tape that bad boy to your shoulder! What about a button up shirt that gapes at the bust line? Tape it together! Hollywood Fashion Tape is the bee's knees.
  • Olay Daily Facial Cloths 5 of 7
    Olay Daily Facial Cloths
Nothing's worse than opening your cosmetic bag and finding your toiletries swimming in liquid from a busted bottle. That's why I love these dry facial cloths from Olay. Just add a little water, and your face will be squeaky clean in a flash.
  • Alterna Caviar Travel Set 6 of 7
    Alterna Caviar Travel Set
I'm a huge fan of Alterna products, and this set is perfect for travel. It contains a lovely shampoo and conditioner, an overnight leave-in conditioner for plane-wrecked hair, and a little bottle of hairspray to tame any flyaways.
  • NARS Laguna Bronzer 7 of 7
    NARS Laguna Bronzer
Planning to visit a tropical locale, but your skin is practically translucent from paleness? (I speak from experience...) This bronzer gives you a perfect summer glow without veering into orange territory.
