Turn an Average Night into an Epic Family Movie Party

We watch movies together as a family frequently, but we consider “watching a movie as a family” and a “Family Movie Party” to be totally separate things. : ) If we have a simple-but-worthy cause to celebrate (Maude passed off that challenging song on guitar! Oscar gave a speech in class that he wrote himself — in French! It was a crummy week and we’re so glad it’s Friday Night!), instead of lumping ourselves on the couch, we do a few specific things that turn an average family night into a captial letter Epic Movie Party. I made a little video to show you what I mean.

How do movie parties go down at your house? If you love to make an event out of it like we do, I gathered together a collection of movie party printables, party ideas, popcorn containers, and anything else that might help you in your cinematic appreciation efforts. For starters, check out those fun DIY movie party printables from Hello Love Designs at top. So fun! Click through the gallery below for 15 more Oscar-worthy finds.
