In today’s video installment, Addie talks about being a big sister to Vivi. She shares her insight into life as Vivi’s senior as well as a few tips for kids who may be becoming big sisters or brothers themselves. Addie and Vivi are almost seven years apart in age and I must say that seven may just be the magical number when it comes to spacing out children. Addie is old enough to be somewhat responsible for Vivi (meaning I can take a shower and not worry about Addie shoving Vivi in the dryer) yet she is still young enough to think Vivi is really fun to play with. Vivi has always looked at Addie as though she hung the moon and one of Vivi’s very first words (if not the first) was “Addie.”
At the end of the video is a little clip of Vivi and Addie being reunited at the end of the school day, one of the highlights of my life. You’ll also witness some pure two year old behavior as well as some pretty common eight year old behavior. If nothing else you’ll get a little glimpse into what my life is like with these two around, and I must say, it’s pretty spectacular.
