Xeno

Millennial parents are probably attracted to this name because of the “X”. But if you know your word parts, you’ll recognize that Xeno means “foreign”—and that seems a little like putting a label on your baby rather than bestowing a name. Xeno is also close to Xenu, a being mentioned in the Scientology doctrines—so don’t be surprised if it gets misconstrued.

Origin

  • greek: Foreign; strange voices
