Lucinda

Fun fact: this is actually a made up name! Author of Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, created the name for the novel, basing it off the name Lucia. While Lucia is currently Spain’s most popular girls name, Lucinda hasn’t been in the Top 1,000 names in the US since 1987, so it would be a very uncommon choice today. Despite its age, it has a modern feel and could be used as a tribute name to replace the outdated Linda or Melinda.
