I’ve been planning Grayson’s first birthday party for almost two months now. Not only will this be my last baby, but it’s our last first birthday we will ever celebrate so we’ve gotta go out with a bang. I’ve been so excited to be planning his party with one amazing stylist, Valerie of Greyson Design. I’ve always planned my parties without help but this time around, life has been crazy and it’s nice to have someone you can bounce off ideas to make it a perfect day.

Go chic for your little one's first birthday with a theme inspired by a classic movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Most of these items you can pull from your very own kitchen. I just love the shabby chic yet elegant look.

Ice Cream Social First Birthday 4 of 13
What baby doesn't love ice cream? This is such a great idea to even do indoors during the cold months when you need a reminder of Summertime. Having a ice bar so guests can create their own special sundae.

Birthday Brunch 8 of 13
I love the idea of having a brunch for baby because you don't have to worry about interfering with nap time. If it wasn't for siblings in soccer, we would have loved to do a brunch. Make mini pancakes and egg quiches while guests sip on orange juice with a cute paper straw.

Radio Flyer 9 of 13
All one-year-olds love their wagon so centering a cute theme for a first birthday party around their favorite toy is always a sure way to go. From the printables to the fabric pennants, the entire theme was brought to life in such a classic way.

Vintage Little Lamb 10 of 13
A great way to throw a memorable party is to take your inside outdoors. Take some of your furniture outside if you are planning to host it in your yard. I love how the party above looks like it is straight from a magazine spread -- especially the turquoise furniture prices. It's so beautiful!

Sesame Street 11 of 13
Who doesn't love the classic children's TV show, Sesame Street? I love how this party was dressed-up from your average party store character party supplies. From the huge colorful balloons to the Sophia's Street sign and cookie monster cake. It's surely a first birthday party for the books!

Tee-Pees, Camping, Feathers, Oh My! 13 of 13
After a lot of back and fourth between a pow wow themed party vs. a little man themed party we decided to go with our Native American culture and celebrate with a Pow Wow. Tee-pees, fringe, camp fires, a trail mix bar and the list goes on! I can't wait to share his first birthday with you.
