It’s crazy to think one year ago, we were finding out the baby growing in my tummy was a boy. In the last year, I finished growing a baby, gave birth, and worked at the farmers market with Tate in tow. We moved to Texas and my husband started graduate school. Tate learned to nurse, to smile, to laugh, to roll, to hold, to sit, and to scoot. It’s so exciting to think in the year to come we can anticipate crawling, walking, running and words.
The pace at which our little Tate grows is an amazing reminder of how quickly time passes and how much can change. My husband and I are in a transitional phase, and we constantly discuss how much better things will be when we “settle” down. This year one of our New Year’s resolutions is to live in the moment. It is so extremely easy to live for tomorrow and our goal is to enjoy all that we have going for us now. Tate is in such a fun phase in his life, and we really want to appreciate each stage as they come.
Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year. May you all have a fabulous year of living in the now.
