20 of the Squishiest, Wrinkliest, Most Delicious Newborn Photos — Ever

Wrinkly love

The images will make your ovaries ache, your heart sing, and they might just make you ugly cry, too.

Philadelphia photographer Dan Cuellar knows something no one else seems to about capturing the sweet, lovely, innocent essence of a newborn in a photo: He ensures the babies are fed and cuddled for hours, and then just as they nod off, he starts snapping away.

The result? The most gorgeous newborn photos maybe ever.

The babies he photographs are under 2-weeks old, which he thinks is optimum for the portraits. And it’s hard to argue with this kind of perfection.

Take a look at the photos in which you can practically feel, smell and taste these little bundles of love, and be prepared to melt:

Endearing

If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.

All of the babies are very beautiful, but I don’t see diversity in the group, although you say you are a “supportive diverse community”.

I agree 100% that is exactly what I thought .. “hummm there’s only white babies here” i find it slighty offensive.

      1. Renaye says:

If you pay attention, there are only 2 or 3 different babies in the whole group of shots. Maybe the photographer is from a predominantly white area, therefore having only white babies to photograph. To be offended is just saying you have an issue with everything that doesn’t have a black person in it. Oh please. Get over yourself.

In my opinion you are mistaken. I can defend the position. Write to me in PM.
