Lifesavers. That is what we call them.
Something that keeps us sane in the moments we really feel like we are losing it when our baby is in the first year of their life. I have had so many different gadgets and gear over the years, and there were so many amazing products I couldn’t live without.
Of course there is stuff they don’t tell you that you will never use at all, but I took that on ages ago.
But now that I am 5 days away from having a toddler instead of a baby, I wanted to look back at all the stuff I needed to use, and what I couldn’t have lived without. If anything it will help new or first time moms really know what they should waste their money on instead of all those registry guides telling then what to buy.
I wish I had done more reading online before I had my first son because I would have been so much better off!
Anyway! I would love for you guys to also share your favorites.
I am so trying to be as upbeat as I can be while I am on the verge of crying my eyes out any day that my baby is so grown up!
Hygeia EnJoye Breast Pump 1 of 25I don't know where I would be without this! Not only is it probably the best breast pump I have used, but it saved my sanity. At a year old we are still going strong! Oh and the fancy tote bag it comes in is a huge highlight as well. Two very big thumbs up!
Check out the Hygeia Here!
Boppy 2 of 25Breastfeeding or not, I really think the Boppy is a must have! Especially if you had a c-section like I did with all of my children. It is so helpful in holding and supporting them in the first few weeks, and then on top of it as they get older you can use it in other capacities like helping your baby to learn how to sit up. Or for tummy time play!

Swing 3 of 25I couldn't live without a swing. The swing actually gave me hours of productivity around the house because it was like a magical spell that made my kids actually sleep. There were nights they would sleep in the swing just to get us all through the night. I wish they made swings big enough for toddlers!
Check out this Swing Here!
Cloth Diapers 4 of 25I have tried so many and actually loved so many in this year alone it is impossible to list them all. I am just grateful that cloth diapering is going well for us now that my little peanut fits into all the diapers we have for her. For a moment in time I never thought she would grow into them!
Mamas & Papas Snug 5 of 25We love our Snug! I couldn't live without it. We used it for playing, eating, all kinds of stuff. It was a nice, and safe alternative to the Bumbo seat we used with our other children.
Check out the Mamas & Papas Snug Here!
Arm’s Reach Co-Sleeper 6 of 25This saved my sanity with a nursing baby in the first few months of life. With our other children we co-slept inside the bed, but this time around my husband decided to join me back in the bed so in the co-sleeper she went. Having her so close was so easy in the middle of the night!
Check out the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Here!
mOmma Sippy Cup 7 of 25I love this cup because it was the only cup I could get Addie to use without help! She loves it and it taught her how to use a straw before she was even a year old!
Check out the mOmma Sippy Cup Here!
CJ’s Butter 8 of 25Most of you probably haven't heard of it, but if you cloth diaper you need to be using it! CJ's is actually an awesome butt cream for your baby, but it is SAFE to use with cloth diapers unlike the majority of creams to keep your little ones butt soft and irritation free!
Check out CJ's Butter Here!
Hylands Teething Tablets 9 of 25I would not be here if it wasn't for these! Seriously! We had the hardest time teething, far worse than our other children and these made such a difference!

Joovy Room2 10 of 25This has to be the best playpen ever. I love that it is a perfect square shape unlike the vast majority of play yards these days! It is peace of mine that you know your baby is safe if you have to leave the room for anything.
Check out the Joovy Room2 Here!
ERGO Baby Carrier 11 of 25Front, back, hip... Wear your baby any way you want to in a super comfortable and safe carrier. It is worth every penny! And now there are so many different print options! Addie prefers to hang out on DH's back these days, but I love the ERGO for baby wearing!
Check out the ERGO Here!
Closer to Nature Monitor 12 of 25This isn't just ANY baby monitor either. This actually gave me real rest instead of worrying about SIDS once I moved Addie into her crib. The sensor pad goes under the mattress and is sensitive enough to sound an alarm if there is no movement (breathing) for 20 seconds. If you want peace of mind when your baby is in their crib, this is what you need!
Check out the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Digital Video Monitor! Here!
Mamas & Papas Loop 13 of 25I love Mamas and Papas products, but the loop has to be the most convenient high chair ever. It is small, and moves easily. It fit perfectly in the corner of our kitchen for when Addie really outgrew the small Snug we were using for feeding. Now she joins us for dinnertime at the table!
Check out the Loop! Here!
Mamaroo 14 of 25I loved the Mamaroo. The fact that I could plug my iPhone into it and play music for Addison to sleep to was a huge sell. My daughter is obsessed with music.
Check out the Mamaroo Here!
UPPAbaby Cruz 15 of 25My new all time favorite stroller. From birth till toddlerhood this one is the easiest option. Its a lightweight, single stroller with a gazillion options. Including an option to use your infant car seat in it!
Check out the Cruz Here!
Rockabye Baby CD’s 16 of 25This girl loves music! I had to stock up on all the different Rockabye baby lullaby CD's because they are fun twists of the songs we all love.
Check out the Rockabye Baby Here!
Nizowear Nursing Bra 17 of 25I have tried a lot of nursing bras over the years, and the Nizowear nursing bra has to be one of the most comfortable nursing bras I have ever used. I really won't use any others anymore!
Check out the Nizowear Nursing Bra Here!
C-Section Recovery Kit 18 of 25This one was more for me than the baby, but it was the most helpful thing in the weeks I was recovering from Addison's delivery. For those who know they are going to have a c-section I highly recommend this c-section recovery kit, and bring it to the hospital WITH you!!
Check out the C-Section Recovery Kit Here!
Wonder Bumpers 19 of 25Go Mama Go Designs Wonder Bumpers! No seriously... they are not just an adorable decoration, they are THEE safest option for crib bumpers on the market!
Check out Wonder Bumpers!
Earth Mama Angel Baby Products 20 of 25Anything from their Shampoo to lotion. Toxin FREE! So many baby beauty products are questionable today, I wouldn't put anything BUT this on my kids!
Check out Earth Mama Angel Baby!
Planet Wise Wet Bags 21 of 25I couldn't live without these. If you are cloth diapering I think these are the best wet bags on the market right now. The selling feature for me was the zipper! No smell escapes these!
Check out Planet Wise!
Babyletto Mercer Crib 22 of 25Neither of my older children slept in a crib so with this one I was determined to get her comfortable sleeping in it. Not only for a peaceful night sleep but for the comfort of knowing she is safe when I put her to bed. I absolutely adore the Mercer!
Check out BabyLetto!
Kolcraft Exersaucer 23 of 25I couldn't live without this thing! Once Addie was tall enough to stand in it on her own, it was her favorite place to play. It also turns into a walker!
Check out Kolcraft!
PEPSI!!!! 24 of 25While this is for me, I don't think I could have survived the last year of my life without my daily Pepsi. I have tried over and over again to cut out soda, but I just can't do it. I only survive by my pepsi!
Check out PEPSI!
iPhone 25 of 25I can't tell you how many times baby related apps or just having something to occupy me with in the middle of the night when I am nursing and trying to stay awake... I am a total convert now.
Get yourself an iPhone!
