5 Beauty Products Every Mom Must Have

My beauty routine has changed drastically since I’ve had children. I used to spend hours at the store buying so many different kinds of products to test out and have fun with at home. Now that I am a mom, my priorites have changed a bit when it comes to getting ready. I have a bit more wrinkles, a lot more dark circles under my eyes, and a few specks of gray hairs popping through. Yes, motherhood can be stressful and can put a strain on your beauty routine, but that doesn’t mean you should just give up on all beauty products all together.

I shared my quick 5-minute daily makeup routine with you last week. And while it’s great to wear makeup everyday so that you can look presentable and feel better about yourself, I realize that it just isn’t practical all the time. There are so many days when I lose track of time and before I know it, the girls are ready to go out the door and I haven’t even gotten out of my pajamas.

It’s days like that when I pull out my emergency beauty products that I keep with me all of the time and are perfect for those last minute dashes out of the house. Check out my five must have beauty products for every mom after the jump!

  • Concealer 1 of 5
    Concealer
I never realized how awful the dark circles were under my eyes until I had kids. The lack of sleep and constantly going all day long has made the area under my eyes pitiful looking. I carry concealer with me wherever I go. That way I am always prepared for a quick fix if I need to get somewhere quickly and need to look somewhat presentable. This stuff can make a night of very little sleep look like you just spent an afternoon at the spa relaxed and rejuvenated.
I love Laura Mercier Camouflage Concealer for $30.
  • BB Cream 2 of 5
    BB Cream
I showed you that this is a part of my everyday makeup routine. If you put on one thing throughout the day, you should put on BB Cream. It helps moisturize, even out your skin tone, and cover up dark circles. I swear by this stuff. It is well worth the price and will last longer than you think. You don't need much for your face.
I love Smashbox BB Cream for $39.
  • Dry Shampoo 3 of 5
    Dry Shampoo
You know those days when you either don't have time to shower or do your hair? That's where this stuff comes in. Dry shampoo has been a lifesaver for me on more than one occasion. You apply it in the morning on your roots and style as usual. It will take all of the oil out of your hair from the prior day and night and make it look as good as new!
I love Oscar Blondi PRONTO Dry Shampoo for $21.
  • Nail Polish Strips 4 of 5
    Nail Polish Strips
I love the way a fresh manicure looks but I never have time to do it myself or go and get it done. I came upon these strips in Sephora and thought I would try them out. I took them home and applied them and was so surprised at how quickly and easy they were to apply. They stayed on without peeling off for over two weeks. With two kids and no dishwasher you know that my nails go through just about anything. The only reason I had to remove them was because of the growth of my nails. They come with nail polish remover making it even easier on you.
I love Sephora by OPI Trend Tips for $12.
  • Tinted Lip Moisturizer 5 of 5
    Tinted Lip Moisturizer
I have extra dry lips so I always have some sort of lip moisturzier on me.I loved the tinted moisturizer I loved that it kept my lips moist but took it up a notch and made my lips look a little bit fancy with that added color. This stuff is always in my bag and applied daily.
I love Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Rose for $22.50.
