Yesterday our family made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We have a great one right here in our own town that people travel over an hour in any direction to come to, so I consider myself super lucky!
I met up with my good friend Hillary and her four boys. Yes, four… Ranging in ages 9 to two. In fact her two youngest boys are the same age as my two boys.
Needless to say, seven kids in the pumpkin patch turned into quite the interesting and fun day! Doesn’t Addie just look like every one of those boys is dotting on her? Heck they are all staring at her in the picture! (That was the best group shot we got!)
All was great, and fun and then Addie decided in the middle of a twenty minute long hay ride, on a tractor… that she was hungry and the only thing she was going to allow to comfort her was a boob. Here we are… in the middle of what looks like their Christmas tree farm, bouncing all over the place, on a tractor full of people, including the rude chatty guy, and she wants to eat.
Of course I wasn’t going to starve her, so I decided to feed her.
BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE!!!
Honestly I don’t know how I did it. LOL! But it got done! The whole time I was sitting there waiting for a comment from the small family sitting across from us that I repeatedly got the evil eye from. The same guy who was complaining while waiting in line to get on the tractor about his wife’s PTA meeting in a half hour. Yup! That is my problem! Buddy, I got 3 kids, you aren’t going to phase me, or cut in line!
I hope those boys are interested in My Little Pony, and baby dolls, because those are the playmates Addie has and they all will be dragged into her girly games whether they like it or not!
