The weather is starting to cool down here in the city and there have been many days when I’ve had to really bundle Avery up. Since most of our commuting around the city is done by stroller, we are outside a good bit. It doesn’t matter whether it’s raining, snowing, cold, or hot, I still have to buckle her in and get moving.
With the weather really starting to get cooler, I have started to look for some cold weather gear for Avery. I am lucky that I have a lot of items left over from when Harlan was younger that I can still use for Avery, but one item that I am missing from our winter gear is a good pair of mittens.
Even with the weather in the 50′s, I’ve noticed that Avery’s hands get really cold. I know she probably won’t like having her hands inside the mittens (because it restricts her from picking things up and putting them in her mouth,) it is important for me to make sure that she is warm while we are making our daily errands.
I went searching on the internet for a great pair of mittens for Avery and found a lot of great style for both baby girls and boys that were absolutely adorable. Check out my favorites after the jump!
Little Robot
The robot detail on these mittens make them extra cute! I love that they have the long string attached to put through your little one's coat so that they don't lose them. Get them from Etsy for $8.

Polka Dot Princess
I'm a big fan of polka dots this season because it is a major fashion trend. Why not have your little one follow the trend in these cute polka dot mittens? I love the extra sparkle added to them for a little bit of flair. Get them from The Children's Place for $8.95.
These striped mittens are perfect for any little baby. With the small price tag, you might as well buy a couple pairs in case you lose one on an outing (because we all know that it happens.) Get them from H&M for $3.95.
Polka dots and roses make these mittens stand out in a crowd. These are probably my absolute favorite out of the bunch and a must have for Avery this winter. Get them from Etsty for $11.
