8 of My Own Fabulously Awkward Holiday Photos

WHY is it so hard to get everyone to look at the camera and just smile?!

Since I had my fun laughing at other family’s awkward family photos in 10 Fabulously Awkward Baby’s First Holiday Photos and 12 Fabulously Awkward MATCHING Holiday Outfit Photos it’s time to share a few of my own.

This past sunday I did what I said I wouldn’t. I made my whole family put something red on and get in front of the tree for a family photos. The tripod and away we went…

How many of these shots do you have? Mom trying to get everyone to look. Kid making weird face, baby still not looking.
  • The Kid Does Something Goofy Shot 3 of 8

Yea.. not so much. Why are kids so goofy?!
  • The Let’s Be Goofy Shot 6 of 8

If you can't beat them. Join Them??
  • The Are you Kidding Me Shot 7 of 8

Now the baby is looking but the 6 year old isn't?!? And Where is My Hand! Ahhhh
  • The Serious Kid Shot 8 of 8
    The Serious Kid Shot
PERFECT except the 6 year old decided to make this his mug shot.

We did end up getting a shot that’s “good enough” for the card. Although the husband wants to try again. I say no. You get one awkward holiday photo shoot a year. I don’t have the energy to try again.
