I’ve been hesitant to blog about this. Fearful that if I shared, my glorious sleep would be taken away from me, but it’s time to roll the dice.
Little Bean has been sleeping.
I mean REALLY sleeping.
Right now it’s 9:30 AM. He went down at 8 PM last night and I haven’t heard a peep from him yet! I really didn’t think that was a possibility with him. He’s been waking up a minimum of twice a night and sometimes up to 4 since the day he was born.
This week? Well, this week he pretty much slept straight through. Today being his longest run yet. There was only one time he woke up around 5AM I think, but he went back down.
However, as his night sleep increased his day sleep is severely decreasing. He used to have two good 2-3 hour naps a day. Now? Well, now I’m lucky if I can get him to go any longer than a 20 minute stretch. He gets tired, passes out, sleeps for 20 minutes and then is raring to go again. I can maybe get 2 hours midday if I keep him up all morning through a cranky spell.
Ahhh the puzzle that is baby sleep.

UPDATE – The Next day: As predicted he punished me for writing this. Up THREE TIMES last night. Triple UGH!!
