All For a Pumpkin Photo
It all started with our second child. When he was 5 months old, we ventured out to a pumpkin patch an hour away and stumbled upon this silly display of a pumpkins and a pot colored orange that read “My First Pumpkin Patch”. We placed our kid in it, took a silly little picture and didn’t think anything of it.
Until we had our third.
Last year, when pumpkin patch season came around, we ventured back – to snap another photo in this silly pumpkin pot – so we could have photos of both of our boys in this thing.
So guess what. Yep – we had a fourth. Regardless of the fact there are probably 5 pumpkin patches closer – we packed the car and drove the hour to get the photo.
And what did our boy do? Sleep. Plus, seeing that he is not even 3 months and can’t sit up (plus mom forgot a blanket), he is slumped over.
But… WE GOT THE PHOTO.

I love it!
Why don’t you go back tomorrow?!?!?
Or better yet, help them by making their pumpkin a bit bigger and adding one of those fancy chairs you like (i’m not a mother so I don’t know what it is) inside so that you can capture a great photo at any age!
I don’t have to go anywhere, but there is a yellow sleeper that all of my kids get photographed in. I plan to hang it in a shadow box type frame with the pictures of them wearing it when I’m done having kids.
Hah, is that the one in Flower Mound?
