Is Your Baby Super Advanced?

6a0133f30ae399970b0192ab0b779b970d-800wi-434x434At three months, Harlow rolled over. At five months, she started to crawl. At six months, she started to pull to standing. And now at seven months, Harlow is cruising around the room.

Cruising, for those who don’t know, is different than walking. It’s using the furniture to keep yourself upright, and going from chair to couch to circling the coffee table, all without ever putting your hands on the ground.

She’s also learned to go from standing to sitting (a skill I watched her try over and over until she mastered late at night in her crib) and then clapping for herself afterward, just to drive the whole Superbaby thing home. As if to say, “What? You didnt see my impressive Superbaby feat? Allow me to puncuate with my own applause.”
