About the network: The Mother Connection was created in 1982 to address the need for mothers within the Merrimack Valley of northern Massachusetts to support each other. TMC has grown to include resources for parents as well as a place for moms to share and build their skills with each other. Some standout features offered are playdate match-ups, organized activities for members and their kids, and an annual preschool fair.
Why we love it: Because of TMC’s volunteer-operated platform, this group not only provides a support system for moms, a regular newsletter, workshops, play dates, and other activities, but it gives moms something to do and a way for them to share and expand on their individual talents.
