Parent’s Pocket Guide to Skincare
It may seem like pesky skin problems are something parents can file under teenage-year worries (right alongside the first broken heart and first missed curfew). Sorry to get under your, um, skin parents, but battling breakouts can start at infancy. In fact, your tiny tot’s arsenal of lotions may just rival your own spread of anti-aging creams. I recently spoke with Dr. Robin Schaffran, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist in Beverly Hills, California, about all the skin issues that can come to the surface much sooner than we parents think. I’ve compiled her tips into this guide, which I hope helps you find the best care for your child. Of course this should not be used in place of your own doctor’s medical advice.
