Little Baby Smiles

The many smiles of Fern.

Prior to having one of my own, I wasn’t really a fan of babies.  Sure they’re cute to look at, but they don’t really do much.  I always thought of them as little blobs that eat, sleep, poop and cry – not exactly thrilling.

But, then I had my sweet little Fern.  At first she didn’t do much and she was kind of blobby herself – a cute blob, but blobby nonetheless.  I couldn’t wait for her to smile…I thought, to receive some kind of feedback from her would be amazing.

And I was right.

Sometime around 5-6 weeks I was lucky enough to see her first sweet (non-gas-related) smile and now I spend many a day trying to capture those beautiful grins on camera.  This got me wondering…

When did your babies start smiling?  Do you have any of those early smiles recorded?

I’d love to see some of your sweet baby’s smiles for a Babble post I’m working on!

Find out how to contribute your photos after the jump!

I’d love to create a roundup of baby photos of that first smile you were able to capture on camera!  If you’d like me to include your baby (and I’d love if you would!), then just shoot me an e-mail at loveoflittlethings@gmail.com with the following information:

*Your  name and your baby’s name (no need for last names)

*His or her age in the photo you submit

*A link to your blog or website if you have one

Can’t wait to see your cute little babies!
