Baby's First Bites

It’s very bizarre, the amount of pride I feel in Huck’s six teeth. I mean, six whole teeth! What a big boy! He grew those teeth so well!

When Huck was four months old we acquired a bit of baby food. A few jars, a few squeezey bags, probably twelve in total. At seven months we started having tasting parties in the high chair. Two months later, we still have five pouches left. Huck is not a fan. So we bagged that and (thanks to your suggestions!) we’ve been having tasting parties involving big boy food. Like, bulgogi! And raspberries! Of course I’ve been obsessively documenting every last bite because that is part of my job description. (And now that I look at it, there is an unnecessary amount of sugar in this slideshow, but I promise that’s just because those foods get better reactions. He actually has a very varied diet, I promise! Well, he’s mostly still breastfeeding, but still! There, disclaimer accomplished.)

(More after the jump.)

Get ready! He’s cuuuute!
