Bellini Baby and Newport Cottages Collaborate for The Stella CollectionCasi Densmore-Koon
If you aren’t familiar with Bellini Baby and Newport Cottages – you’re truly missing out in the design world. Two of my favorite companies collaborated to bring you one simply beautiful collection. Let me introduce you to them both in case you aren’t on the up and up in the design world for baby.
Bellini, the one-stop iconic shop for parents offering premium nursery bedding, layette, gifts and bedding collaborated with Newport Cottages, the high-quality, USA_made children’s manufacturer to design a new juvenile furniture collection that is beyond swoon-worthy. Introducing the Stella Collection. Ready for some serious eye-candy?
The chic new Stella Collection (who doesn’t love that name!) includes a crib that can convert to a toddler bed (bonus!), a beautiful bookcase and a dresser with option tray. And to be honest, I wouldn’t mind having the dresser in my room it’s so pretty! The transitional classic and modern style offering heirloom-quality construction will last generations is just perfect when transition from a nursery to a toddler room.
“Bellini is thrilled to partner with Newport Cottages for this special design collaboration and offer our customers a fresh, modern approach to nursery style,” says Michelle Freedberg, co-owner of Bellini.
With the highest attention to detail, hand-crafted from hardwoods, I just can’t get enough of the special design features including the mortise and tenon joinery for the crib; adjustable shelves and fully-extension drawer guides for the bookcase; and full-extension drawer guides for the dresser. All of the things you look for in a high-quality piece of furniture. Better yet, to enhance any nursery style, the collection is available in many colors – pink, navy, grey, white and espresso.
If you’re close to one of the 24 Bellini stores across the county from Miami to Dubai, I would make a stop into one of the boutiques. As a go-to retailer for nursery couture and collections for almost 30 years, it’s one of my favorite places to stop when I head to Los Angeles. Celebrities like Bethenny Frankel, Heidi Klum and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few among Bellini’s clientele. If you can’t make it to Bellini, check out their website to shop too!
The Stella Collection will retail at select Bellini boutiques for the following: $1240 for the Stella Crib, $970 for the Stella Bookcase, $1400 for the Stella Dresser and $185 for the optional Stella Dresser Tray. The entire collection is crafted with non-toxic, low-VOC finishes and meets or exceeds all CPSC and ASTM standards. While it may be an investment, it’s worth every penny! They are heirloom pieces that will grow-up with your child.
