Trying to pick the best mobile is a bit like trying to pick the best pair of shoes - there are so many styles and options to choose from! But we narrowed down our favorites based on baby gender, style, function, budget, and more.
Although many of these mobiles can be hung anywhere in the house - like over the changing table or even in the living room - keep in mind that crib mobiles should generally be removed around 6 months. As soon as your baby can potentially pull it down, a mobile poses a safety risk.

Best Budget Mobiles | Paint Chip Mobile
This brilliant, thrifty idea came from craft blogger Liz Stanley (who you can also find at Family Style). As long as you have access to a sewing machine, all you need is some paint chip samples from a local hardware store, an embroidery ring, and a circle punch. The circle punch might be the biggest splurge at maybe $10.
