The Best Diaper Rash Cream

best diaper rash creamI have this slight obsession with the smell of lavender. There is something so calming and relaxing about the smell – especially when the smell is coming from my baby’s Huggies.

What? Did she just say THAT? Is she referring to the smell of her baby’s butt?

Yes, I did and yes, I am. Thank you very much.

Nope – sorry folks, Huggies does not have scent infused diapers. I just happen to use the best diaper rash cream that smells amazing. Let me introduce you. Meet my favorite diaper rash ointment: Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment.

I received a tube of Burt’s Bee diaper ointment with our first child 9 years ago. Since then – I’ve been obsessed. Not only does this cream smell amazing, it always knocks any diaper rash right out of the park. Our toddler is in a constant state of diaper rash. He has food allergies and folks, it ain’t purty. At the first sign of a red bottom, we lather the baby up with Burt’s and let it do it’s thing. A doctor once told me to ice the baby’s bottom like I was icing a cake. Bad visual, but hey it’s always worked for us!

I’m telling you people, if you like a lavender smell, this stuff is like baby diaper perfume with a cause.

Diaper rashes are inevitable, but with this cream – at least your baby will be smelling lavendery and nice – and baby’s diaper rash will clear quickly. Win and win!

Make sure you read Katie’s tips for Preventing a Diaper Rash.

Hint: If you are a Burt’s Bees Diaper Ointment fan, Amazon has the best pricing.
