Fashion has come a long way in the nursing world and now breastfeeding is going to look a little bit more stylish with these amazing Bravado Designs nursing tanks designed by fashion icon Rebecca Minkoff. Last month I told you about the collaboration and today I had the opportunity to attend the launch party in NYC for the debut of the limited edition tanks.
The nursing tanks, designed by Minkoff, who is a fellow nursing mom, feature one of the seasons hottest trends, color blocking. The tanks are named after Minkoff’s son Luca and her nephew Indy.
Not only are Bravado Designs and Rebecca Minkoff paving the way when it comes to nursing in style, they are also doing their part to give back to the community. As a part of the launch and Bravado Designs’ 20th anniversary, a portion of the proceeds from the nursing tanks will go to non-profit organization, Baby Buggy.
I had the incredible opportunity to sit down one-on-one with Baby Buggy founder, Jessica Seinfeld, to chat about motherhood, her inspiration behind Baby Buggy, and her feelings on the collaboration with Bravado Designs. (Check out the interview here.)
The event was an amazing time to come together with great women and moms to celebrate giving back, motherhood, and breastfeeding. Check out some of the photos from the event below!
Rebecca Minkoff and Jessica Seinfeld
Rebecca Minkoff has long been a supporter of Baby Buggy and both women were very excited to work together as a part of this collaboration.
I am absolutely in love with these tanks. Usually nursing tanks are so drab and boring, but you can tell that Minkoff put her own touch and style into designing the tanks.
Kathryn From was so excited to debut the collection of the nursing tanks. Her passion and dedication to nursing mothers was so evident as she proudly introduced us to Bravado Designs' newest nursing tanks.
Rebecca Minkoff Shares Her Personal Story of Nursing Her Son
Minkoff is a nursing mother herself and has kept her needs as a fellow nursing mom in mind when designing the tanks. She said that after the first night of having her milk come in, she realized that a sports bra just wasn't going to cut it and she needed something with support and that worked for her.
Seinfeld's dedication to helping families in need is so amazing. She was so excited for what this partnership was going to do for Baby Buggy and for nursing moms that don't have the essentials or support they need.
Jessica Seinfeld and Rebecca Minkoff were kind enough to pose for a picture with fellow bloggers. I was lucky enough to get in the shot! (I'm on the far left.)
