They say that everyone on the planet has a doppelganger out there somewhere, another human being who looks almost exactly like them.
In one way, that might be the creepiest thing I have ever heard. I mean, I don’t know about you, but up in my head, the very idea of wandering down the aisle of Walmart and steering my cart around the corner only to see another staring back at me from out in front of the big display of Duck Dynasty Fruit Snacks really freaks me out.
I don’t even know if there’s really any truth to the whole idea of it anyway. It could all just be urban legend.
Or, should I say … JOHN LEGEND?!
That’s right, people. Just when you thought it was safe to go about your business unencumbered by the possibility of running into your unknown twin down at the Burger King, along comes proof that doppelgangers do exist!
And, even crazier than that, they’re cute! Well, musician John Legend’s doppelganger is anyway.
See, according to an ABC News report out today, the nine-time-Grammy-award-winning Legend recently discovered that his actual brother-by-another-mother just so happens to be a super-cute little 4-month-old fella from St. Louis named Caden. It seems that Caden’s aunt posted a picture of the tiny Legend lookalike on Twitter a couple of days ago and it was soon brought to the attention of the piano man himself.
Playing along, Legend then posted a baby picture of himself on his own Twitter page, and well … the rest is history.
So OK, maybe not everyone on Earth has a doppelganger, but you’ll never ever convince John Legend and BabyCaden of that.
