It’s one of those things you can’t possibly understand until you need it. Jewelry you can chew on? But it’s actually quite genius.
Chewbeads is a collection of “mommy chic, baby safe” necklaces and bracelets that are both stylish and effective. I have one necklace and two different bracelets, and I rarely leave home without wearing at least one. My son chews on everything I wear anyway, so this makes perfect sense.
Read on to find out how you can win a bracelet or necklace of your own!
I rarely carry my giant diaper bag around with me (it lives in my car), and it’s not always practical for me to haul around sets of plastic keys, gummy giraffes, and whatever else my son finds entertaining. I throw on a Chewbeads necklace and I know that if my son melts down in the grocery store, I have a safe and reliable toy on hand.
Not to mention – have you moms tried to actually wear jewelry? It’s pretty much impossible. Earrings are yanked, necklaces are tugged, and bracelets get caught in everything. Chewbeads has some great safety features, like a quick release clasp, so I don’t worry if he’s yanking and tugging quite so much (although it would be nice if he didn’t…).
Here are a few more features listed on the Chewbeads website:
- Beads are made with 100% silicone (similar to pacifiers & nipples)
- Soft on babies gums and emerging teeth
- Easily cleaned with dish soap & water, also dishwasher safe!
- No BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, or Lead
- Necklaces have a breakaway clasp for added safety
- Necklaces are a great sensory tool to help your baby focus while nursing
- Bracelets are a colorful reminder of which side you’ve just nursed
Available in a range of colors and styles, here is a quick sample of some of the great jewelry you can win…
