    If the surfing mom had lost her son under a wave, he could have drowned. We recently had a local three year old drown this way! Also sand play can be dangerous… a friend’s baby drowned in sand years ago. He was laughing and fell and inhaled a bunch of sand. His lungs had enough sand in him to kill him. Some of these videos are charming, but a couple of them are downright horrifying.
