They are one size pocket diapers which are my favorite diapers to use just because they are incredibly simple to use and user friendly. The Diaper Rite diapers to me are a great brand for a newcomer to cloth diapering to get started with.
Since they were one size diapers I tried them out on Addison and my older son Ben who is a fixture over on Toddler Times here on Babble because I wanted to really put them through the cloth diapering ringer so to speak.
There were two different types of one size diapers, the bamboo diaper which is a material I had used before hand — then there is the suede diaper which I am pretty obsessed with now because I am in love with the material itself.
Just looking at the picture of the material… I want to snuggle up with it. No seriously… if it wasn’t a diaper I would probably be using it as a pillow case because it is just that soft! Now I know the kids can’t really express how much they like a diaper but I would imagine they would love this because of the texture on their butt. Again — if it was me I would be loving it!
I tried the absorbancy of the diapers on both kids during the toughest time of the day — NAP TIME!
I am happy to report that both children – the 10 month old baby and the two year old boy who is also a heavy wetter did not have any leaks during their naps. They woke to diapers that held up amazingly.
The diaper essentially has three great sizes that expands from newborn till your kiddo potty trains which is a huge plus. Why? Because compared to some cloth diapers which range from $15.99 to $25 the Diaper Rite diapers retail in the ball park of…. $9.99! And well worth every penny in cloth diapering terms!
I am really happy to have been introduced to Diaper Rite and I am even happier to giveaway the two same diapers I got as well as a Diaper Rite wet bag for one lucky Baby’s First Year reader!
You don’t have to be a cloth diapering mom or a veteran. You could be someone who is just interested in checking out cloth diapers without putting a huge investment into them! Enter to win below! And be sure to show some love for Diaper Rite!
