I know a lot of the readers on Baby’s First Year also cloth diaper their children, so when I got an email from one of my favorite cloth diaper companies, FuzziBunz the other day about a great fund raiser they are holding beginning on June 1st I wanted to share it with everyone!
Even though FuzziBunz founder Tereson Dupuy has been incredibly generous over the years to a variety of charities, this time her project is personal as her own son Eden, who was the inspiration behind the FuzziBunz line has Asperger Syndrome which he was diagnosed with in 2006 at the age of 8.
As a mother myself, my heart goes out to her, and her family. And as an advocate for mothers and children, I think it is an amazing thing she is doing, and essentially will help raise a lot of money for a great organization… one which I walked for in 2009.
$1 from every light it up blue diaper sold will go directly to Autism speaks which is awesome. Even better is right now FuzziBunz have also extended their buy 5, get one free diaper deal until Jun e 15th! Something I also plan on taking advantage of before it ends. And I will also be getting my light it up blue diaper! Girls can totally rock blue!
For more information on the Autism Speaks fundraiser, visit the FuzziBunz website, there is a great page about it up now!
Thanks to Tereson and the FuzziBunz family for taking on such a great fund raising project!
