Chicco Recalls Over 485,000 High Chairs

chico high chair recallHeads up if you own a Chicco Polly High Chair. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of over 485,000 Polly high chairs.

The recall involves a range of the Chicco Polly highchairs with pegs on the back legs (intended for tray storage) manufactured prior to October 13, 2010. It is the result of 21 known children injured from falling against pegs on the back legs of the chairs.

26 chair models are involved in the product recall and were sold from January 2005 through this month.

If you are unsure if your Chicco Polly Highchair is apart of the recall, check the model number and date code found on a label on the underside of the seat close to the footrest.

To help prevent injuries before repair, store the tray on the pegs when the high chair is not in use.
