Holiday Shopping for Looks to Last All Year

In our house, we are fans of sparkles and sequins and all things shiny. One thing I love about the holidays is that I can find plenty of options to stock my daughters’ wardrobes with sparkly pieces that are casual enough for every day, but fancy enough to make them smile. Zinashi’s wardrobe is in pretty good shape, but since we didn’t know what size Elvie would be and how quickly she’d grow, we don’t have much for her. It only took me about twenty minutes alone with the Target website to put together five looks that I’d love to buy for my little sparkler to wear throughout the year.

  • Black and gold 1 of 5
    Black and gold
The bodysuit has just enough sparkle to look a little fancy, but not too fancy. Paired with a tutu and shiny shoes, this ensemble can go from party to playground in a moment's notice.
  • Ruffles, Flowers, and Bunnies 2 of 5
    Ruffles, Flowers, and Bunnies
A look for the girlie girl, who can confidently wear a flowered top with a tutu and complete the look with bunny rabbit shoes.
  • Dots of Gold and Coral 3 of 5
    Dots of Gold and Coral
This much sparkle might put things a little over the top, but I can't resist gold and coral together. The bodysuit adds a bit of a casual air while the skirt and shoes are dressier.
  • Animal Style 4 of 5
    Animal Style
This is an ideal playground outfit. I saw this top in store and fell in love with the sparkly deer. It seems only right to pair it with some animal print skinnies and classic sneakers.
  • Sweetheart Sparkles 5 of 5
    Sweetheart Sparkles
This is perfect for a day spent playing at home; if we want to pop out to the store or library, the cute tee, comfy leggings, and sparkly shoes will turn heads without making my baby try too hard.
