One part of being a woman I truly have always hated… getting my period.
I think the only highlight of it in recent years was the peace of mind knowing we didn’t have another surprise bun in the oven.
But since I had Addison I haven’t gotten an actual period. Yeah I know what you are thinking… lucky bitch right?
I like to consider myself really lucky because I didn’t get a period after she was born and breastfeeding basically held it off until I had my IUD placed.
Oh and that IUD thing, I never thought I would say this but I so totally highly recommend them! So far I have had mine in for three months and I am on cloud nine.
No more worrying about the pill or condoms. No more worrying about another child in the mix or paying way too much money out of pocket for a vasectomy.
Plus its removable!
I must sound like a walking billboard for an IUD now right?
Blah blah blah… I know it is part of life and we are supposed to go through this horrid process once a month but medical me up because I am over it and don’t plan on diving back in anytime soon!
I know I can’t be the only woman out there excited about something like this right?
I am pretty sure most women absolutely hate their periods right… So who is with me?
