I Finally Found The Perfect Black Doll For My Daughters

SWEL1233.eps_0728.fpx

All month I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect black doll for my daughters.  It started with my post “Should My Black Daughter Have More Black Dolls?” and continued when I shopped around and created “11 Adorable Black Dolls for Baby“.  Since this time, I found a “Basket of Babies” made by Marvel Education Company.  Available at Amazon.com for $36.95 (here), these little dolls are everything I wanted and more!  They are soft, age-appropriate, crazy cute and they have skin colors ranging from light to dark and several shades in between.

I can’t think of a better idea.  This way, the black dolls can be used in play identical to the white babies.  I love the interchangability of them and daughters can share and select different shades  as they flow through their busy-bee activities of feeding, diapering and patting the babies!
