Irish Inspired: 12 Green-Hued Nurseries for Baby

With St. Patrick’s day quickly approaching, I’ve been seeing green everywhere. There isn’t only one shade of green either.  Think Kelly green, shamrock green, emerald green (color of the year!) and Irish green — so many different shades of green. You would be surprised how many shades of green are associated with Ireland, St. Patty’s Day and of course — the Irish! Which is why it inspired me to browse green-hued nurseries in honor of the lucky holiday. And hey — green isn’t your average nursery color but these spaces really make you rethink. It’s bold, different and bright. I’m kind of loving it for your little one’s room. Green is a well-loved color — it surrounds us in nature everyday, it pops up during Christmas, it’s a modem bright — so, why not make it pop in the nursery too!

Nursery tip: Don't want to splash the color everywhere, using molding, like Wayne's coating here lets the green pop on the walls. This color combo is so great together -- blue, green and coral. LOVE!
