A while back I posted that Fuzz wasn’t sleeping well and I thought it might be due to a cold, or the fact that he was about to roll over. I’ve read several times that babies’ sleep can be disrupted right before they reach a developmental milestone.
So Fuzz rolled over and rolled over and rolled over, but he still isn’t sleeping. In fact, if it’s possible, his sleep is worse than it was before the rolling.
Ok, little dude. Time for this four month sleepless crapola to end. Seriously, it is getting old.
He’s getting up far too often and to add insult to injury, he’s also taking an extraordinarily long time to go to sleep. I posted about our date night and how he was waking up every twenty minutes while we were gone. Well, he woke up a bunch during the night too. Tonight he did the same thing when going to bed, except we were here, not our neighbor. It took him over two hours to settle down to sleep. He won’t go to sleep without being in someone’s arms, which although awfully cute, is a little inconvenient. He won’t stay asleep, either.
The most annoying part is that for the first three months of life he’d go to bed so easily. I’d just put him down and he’d drift off all by himself.
I checked for teeth and so far nothing significant. I know ‘this too shall pass’ but right now it’s hard to imagine when and how that will happen. Anyone else out there struggle with their baby at this stage?
