Keep It Up Mr. Sandman and I Might Kiss YouHolly Whitney
Seven and a half hours.
Seven and a half GLORIOUS hours.
That is consecutive hours of baby sleep last night that I’m talking about here, people.
The night before it was eight hours.
I could get used to this.
My maternity leave ends this week and getting a few more uninterrupted hours of sleep will be critical for me to function on an appropriate level. I needed this to happen right now.
Not only did Huggy Baby sleep longer the past couple of nights, he did it in his crib in the boys’ room. Not right next to me in the bassinet which had been the dominant sleeping area for the first 8 weeks. That is a huge step for me.
I’m crossing my fingers that this is the start of a steady habit of sleeping longer at night. I could really use it. Trust me when I say sleep deprivation does not look good on me.
