What is it with kids and cameras? Both my boys and heck, even the cat, always stop doing that really cute thing the minute the camera comes out.
Yesterday I had Little Bean belly laughing. He was giving me the biggest giggles after a little tickling. So I did what any photo happy mom would do. I grabbed the camera…
I got a little one in there but no where near the cuteness that was just seconds before. Little bugger!

I think he was fascinated with the light that kept flashing…
Maybe the key is to get the video camera set up before your session starts, then start playing, and then see if he gives up the goods (giggles)! Then you can edit it down if necessary.
Yes, because there’s this much time to plan and prep as a parent of an infant, right…?? Hehe!

Yes! I have the same experience! I don’t have a video camera, so I’m just using my iPhone, but every time I pull it out, he’s still cute, but the giggles and cooing that were going on just before I pulled out the camera stop!!! I end up with lots of long videos that I still find cute, but they are nowhere near as cute as what I was aiming for!
It made ME giggle.
we had a case of the giggles yesterday too! luckily i had my phone ready while daddy was making him laugh! but most of the time our bubba is like your little bean!
