Learning to Share

Being the first grandbaby on both sides, Evie has been raised mostly around adults. Today, she got to play with her friend who is a crawler and can grab things much faster than Evie can.

It was the first time Evie has had a toy ripped out of her hands. She looked confused, but I think more than anything, the concept of learning to share will probably be a bigger lesson for me… meaning, I need to let Evie fend for herself. I’m really not upset in any way, but see how this can get harder as babies become kids whose feelings get hurt.

What’s your advice?
