Life Lessons For My Baby Girl

Life Lesson #2: “Never buy a cheap swimsuit”

In my opinion, there are certain things in life that parents should teach their children; life lessons if you will.

I’m not talking about basic lessons like: wash behind your ears, don’t chew with your mouth open, etc… I’m talking about those lessons that no one else will tell them – lessons that you learned the hard way; lessons you learned through awkward moments.

I’ve been thinking a lot about these kind of lessons lately and have begun documenting these over at my blog.

Read more after the jump!

So far the life lessons I’ve come up with for Fern are as follows:

Life Lesson #1:

*No flashing

Life Lesson #2:

*The 3 Tenants of Swimsuit Shopping

There will be many more to come, but seriously – a girl needs to know how to properly swimsuit shop since it can be one of the most traumatic shopping trips she may ever have to endure.  If her mom doesn’t tell her, then who will?

I’d love to find out what life lessons would be on your list for your little one!  Feel free to leave them in the comments or send them in an e-mail (loveoflittlethings@gmail.com).  I’d like to do a round up of these life lessons, so hit me with your best!
