Unfortunately I’m not talking about the bow-chicka-wow topic of the book by the same title, but just in general, “how we can all not kill each other in a house with a colicky baby?”. We’ve tried what I’d characterize as “everything” and while some things make it all “better”, nothing is making it go away. The symptoms of colic, real colic, whatever you’d like to call it. That’s my life right now.
We all go in shifts — my husband, my three boys, myself — in getting to the edge of our ropes and then losing it a bit over the difficulty that is a colicky baby. Thankfully my husband and I have never fallen apart at the same time. There must be some supernatural force that is keeping *that* particular brand of crazy from happening. We are working very intentionally on not fighting or yelling at the kids just to take out our stress somewhere.
It is NOT easy.
You may hear about colic a lot from me here. It’s pretty much all that goes through my head. That, and the crying (hers and mine).
