Avery’s 12th month flew by. In the words of her GI doctor, “she is growing like a weed.” We went for her one year check-up this week at her pediatrician and she is on target with everything (expect weight, which was expected). She’s meeting all of her milestones and is perfectly healthy!
We were so busy this month traveling and going on vacation that I felt like her first birthday was here before I could even blink. With all of that traveling, comes a lot of great photos. It’s getting to be so much more fun to travel with Avery because she is so much more in tune to everything that is going on around her. I love watching her enjoy all of these new experiences.
Snow Angel 1 of 10We had a really big snow storm hit at the beginning of the month. Avery didn't like the snow, but she sure looked liked a cute little snow baby.
Just Hangin’ 2 of 10Avery's new thing this month was to just pick a spot and lay down to watch her new favorite show. I love that she's just eating a pouch and hanging out watching a movie.
Hello Stuffed Animals! 3 of 10Avery was supposed to be taking her afternoon nap, but instead chose to wave hi to all of the stuffed animals on the back of her door. It was possibly one of the cutest things she's ever done.
Morning Hugs 4 of 10A good morning hug between sisters never gets old.
Hello Miami! 5 of 10Warm weather, new crocs, and taking over Miami. She loved it.
Look at the Water 6 of 10She was so in love with our balcony on the cruise. We'd both go out there every morning while my husband and Harlan slept. I'd work on my computer and she would just stare out at the water. It was so peaceful for both of us!
Water Baby 7 of 10This was really Avery's first experience with the pool and it took her a while to get used to it, but once she did, she loved splashing around!
Beach Bum 8 of 10She didn't like the way that the sand felt on her toes, so she cuddled with me the entire day that we were at the beach. I was in cuddle baby heaven.
Sisters 9 of 10This photo is one of my favorites of the girls. They are in the exact same position just looking out at the water just minutes after waking up.
More Ice Cream! 10 of 10Avery had her first taste of ice cream this month. This was the face she gave me when I told her it was all gone. Like mother, like daughter.
