Maybe I shouldn’t think of it as “going backwards,” but that’s what it sure feels like.
Little Bean was doing phenomenal on the sleeping front for a couple of weeks now. I’d put him to bed around 8pm following our nighttime routine, and he’d sleep consistently until 6am-ish.
It. was. GLORIOUS!
Now? Not so glorious. The last few nights he’s been getting up to nurse more frequently, and he seems to be shifting back to almost a newborn schedule.
Three days ago he got up at 4:30am to nurse.
Ok, he was hungry. Not a big deal.
Two nights ago he got up at 3:30 and 5:30.
Hmmm wonder what’s bugging him. Maybe he’s not eating enough during the day??
Last night? Up at 2:30, 4:30 and 6.

I’m hoping this is a temporary shift in schedule and eating habits. He totally spoiled me these last few weeks. I’ve heard of the “4 month sleep regression” but I don’t remember it being an issue with my first. Maybe this is it?
